Criticizing Photography

For this week's assignment, the photo below has to be my favorite. This image is aesthetically evaluative and is very pleasing to look at. I am really drawn into the beauty of this photo and all of the colors used in the mural. The mural also contains many different types of activities, events, jobs, etc that are all around Newark.

The most challenging aspect of this assignment was figuring out what to photograph for each category. I had a little bit of a hard time finding things that would fit nicely, but definitely had an easier time than last assignment since I now have more experience. Once reminding myself of the different examples of each category, it was much easier to think of subjects to photograph.

To create stronger images in the future, I think I have to plan out a little better ahead of time. Since I seem to struggle with finding subjects, it may benefit me to think ahead of different things I can photograph.
